Anthony Morfin

Anthony Morfin Sacramento Lightning

Forward

My name is Anthony Morfin. I was born on July 7, 1998 and I am 10 years old. I live in Woodland, California with my mom, dad and sister. I am in 4th grade.

I was born with a condition called Spina Bifida, which is a developmental birth defect involving the spinal cord. The level of my defect is L3‐4. Because of this defect, I am unable to walk and use a wheelchair to get around.

My favorite things are studying about insects, playing with my 3 dogs, my bearded dragon, my hermit crab, playing video games, riding my bike, fishing, camping, and playing sports.

I am currently on a baseball team; a soccer team and I just started playing sled hockey. I think hockey is cool and I like that it is competitive and I like to make goals. I would like to continue to play it for a long time and to make new friends. I am excited that our team will be traveling to other states to compete and to show people that even though people are in wheel chairs and have a disability, they can play hockey, too.
